Honestly I really didn't know how much personal information is being linked all over the world to different people as well as huge companies. I always use to hear people say, “don't get a amazon echo the FBI is listening.” Now normally I would just laugh about it and brush it off as more so a joke, but nowadays I get this very strong feeling that the joke might not be farfetched from the truth! Its pretty crazy to think that devices in are home are being used to constantly monitor are behaviors. Taking notes on common trends we as humans tend to do and then uploading the data to servers, so we become under the attack of marketed advertisement (Hill). That's not such a bad thing right? Well not entirely but the part that scares me is, I don't want parts of my private life to be a well known source on the internet. Like private emails. Which can now can be a lot easier then in the pass to decoded by people and the government to know what were sending (Andy).I really enjoyed learning about the topic bid data and hope to continue learning about it in the future.
